Key Responsibilities:
  • Draft and develop policies, procedures, and plans to ensure continuity capabilities are met.
  • Provide guidance and support to business process and business impact analysis, risk management, and emergency management efforts.
  • Assess and evaluate national policy and plans governing continuity programs.
  • Develop and coordinate agency-level policy, procedures, or plans and coordinate them internally and externally.
  • Develop and execute training programs to enhance continuity capabilities.
  • Conduct independent research and analysis to support continuity efforts.
  • Present complex issues in written and graphical forms to government management.
  • Mentor subordinate personnel to enhance their skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree with knowledge of federal continuity program roles, responsibilities, plans, and procedures.
  • Valid state-issued driver's license.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
  • Active TS/SCI w-Polygraph.
  • Professional certification and training such as Certified Emergency Manager, Professional Continuity Practitioner Level 1 & Level 2, Master Exercise Practitioner, or related training.
