Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Thermodynamics and Reaction Engineering Expert to join our R&D team at Carbon Clean. The successful candidate will have a strong background in chemical engineering fundamentals, transport phenomena, chemical reaction engineering, and thermodynamics. They will be responsible for developing custom models for reaction processes and build blocks in our CO2 capture processes.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and apply multi-scale models of process units.
  2. Solve and optimize robust kinetic models that incorporate fundamental process chemistry.
  3. Work with software packages such as Aspen Plus and gPROMS.
  4. Use programming languages like Python and MATLAB.

Requirements:

  • Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering or related discipline with relevant thesis work.
  • Solid understanding of chemical engineering fundamentals.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate and work well in a dynamic team environment.

Salary & Benefits

Based on your expertise, we offer a competitive salary range of $140,000-$220,000 per year. In addition, we provide benefits including 20 days' vacation, pension contribution matching 6%, and healthcare reimbursement.
