Key Responsibilities

Peraton is seeking a Cyber Intelligence Operations Analyst to play a pivotal role in synthesizing knowledge, information, and data from a diverse array of partners, including the U.S. Intelligence Community (IC), State, local, tribal, and territorial (SLTT) entities, the private sector, international allies, and the U.S. critical infrastructure and cybersecurity sectors.

Location: This position allows for a hybrid work environment, permitting telework up to 50% of the time, with on-site presence required based on operational needs.

In this position, you will:
  • Collaborate with a team to enhance analytical operations and integrate them into Threat Hunting and CISA Operations, contributing to the wider cybersecurity community.
  • Utilize your expertise in data, information, processes, and organizational dynamics to fulfill mission objectives.
  • Oversee Requests for Information (RFI) from Analysts, managing the scope and assignment of RFIs to vendors, and consolidating responses for review.
  • Assist Mission Team analysts in developing and updating Information Needs (IN).
  • Draft essential organizational documents such as Concept of Operations, Standard Operating Procedures, and Work Instructions.
  • Identify and implement improvements to the efficiency of cyber incident reporting and workflows.
  • Document challenges and collaborate across teams to pinpoint opportunities for process enhancements, recommending solutions to ensure effective incident reporting.
  • Formulate strategies to limit, mitigate, or defend against coordinated cyber threats that could jeopardize critical infrastructure or national interests.
  • Evaluate project challenges and devise solutions to meet productivity, quality, and agency satisfaction goals.
  • Create mechanisms for tracking project progress and facilitate intervention and problem-solving with project and line managers.
  • Establish effectiveness measures for cyber initiatives, analyzing current practices and past incidents for insights and best practices.
  • Coordinate and facilitate engagements with internal and external partners to promote information exchange and respond to requests for assistance.
Qualifications

Required:
  • A Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Proven ability to devise and implement strategies for operationalizing cybersecurity programs.
  • In-depth knowledge of cybersecurity operations theory, tactics, techniques, and procedures.
  • Capability to identify, analyze, and rectify program support deficiencies.
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and proposing corrective actions.
  • U.S. citizenship is mandatory.
  • An active Top Secret security clearance with eligibility for SCI is required.
    • Additionally, the selected candidate must obtain and maintain a favorably adjudicated DHS background investigation (EOD) for continued employment.

Target Salary Range

$104,000 - $166,000. This range reflects the typical salary for this role based on experience and other factors.
