Cybersecurity Operations Specialist

We're seeking a Cybersecurity Operations Specialist to join our team at Booz Allen Hamilton. As a key member of our cybersecurity team, you will be responsible for understanding cyberspace capabilities to evaluate potential weaknesses and the effectiveness of mitigations for cybersecurity solutions.

You will work closely with your team to leverage cyberspace operations systems to aggregate threat feeds that inform briefings for senior leadership aligned to the Department of Defense.

This is an opportunity to use your research and analysis abilities to adequately assess and inform operators and senior leadership or commanders on dynamic adversarial tactics, techniques, and procedures for the DoD.

Your role will be vital in the development of operations plans to support command and control.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate potential weaknesses in cyberspace capabilities
  • Develop and implement cybersecurity solutions
  • Aggregate threat feeds to inform briefings for senior leadership
  • Assess and inform operators and senior leadership on dynamic adversarial tactics, techniques, and procedures
  • Develop operations plans to support command and control

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience with DoD cybersecurity analysis
  • Knowledge of organizational risk management
  • Ability to communicate verbally and in writing at a senior level on technical DoD cybersecurity
  • TS/SCI clearance
  • Bachelor's degree

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with communications security
  • Knowledge of DoDIN operations

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements.

The projected compensation range for this position is $60,400.00 to $137, annualized USD.
