Senior Sales Leadership Role

About Total Quality Logistics:
We are seeking a highly experienced Sales Manager to lead our Less Than Truckload (LTL) sales team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth, developing and coaching sales employees, and building strong relationships with customers and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Revenue Growth: Develop and execute strategies to drive LTL revenue growth through coaching and developing of new and existing team members.
- Sales Team Development: Interview, hire, onboard, and train entry-level LTL account representatives to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed.
- Customer Relationships: Build effective relationships across the full-truckload sales organization to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
- Integrity and Compliance: Ensure employees maintain the highest level of integrity and adhere to company policies and procedures.
- Travel: Occasional travel to meet with LTL account reps, prospects, and customers to ensure face-to-face communication and relationship-building.
- Sales Reporting: Monitor sales reports, identify trends and market conditions, and communicate insights to senior leadership to inform business decisions.
- Escalated Issues: Assist in resolving escalated issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Strategic Growth: Develop and implement new strategies to grow accounts and drive business growth.
Requirements:
- Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field.
- Experience: 5+ years of sales management experience, preferably leading a team of 10+ employees. 3+ years of experience succeeding in LTL Sales is required.
- Skillset: Strong negotiation and presentation skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and demonstrated ability to coach, lead, and motivate others.
- Availability: Ability to be on call if needed to support team and customers 24/7/365.
- Professional References: Capable of providing strong professional references, including customer, superior, peer, and direct-report references.
