Customer Success Specialist

Join Global Industrial, a leading provider of industrial equipment and supplies, in a role that supports the customer experience. As a Customer Success Specialist, you will be aligned with a specialized sales unit and will provide enhanced service and support to customers within that unit.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Attend sales unit team meetings to understand customer needs and initiatives.
  • Provide customer support, including administrative functions, report preparation, and issue resolution.
  • Work with vendors to resolve requests and issues, and prepare paperwork for approvals.
  • Create and document process flows to improve efficiency and alignment.
  • Support customers in resolving sales-related issues in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to solve customer needs and issues.
  • Expedite and follow through on rush requests from customers.
  • Work directly with customers to ensure high-level support.
  • Assist with Business Review preparation.
Competencies and Skills:
  • 4+ years of proven sales support experience.
  • College degree or internal Global Industrial experience preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and follow process with attention to detail.
  • Excellent PC skills in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Outstanding interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to organize, prioritize, and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Maintain confidentiality.
