About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Cast Line Operator to join our team at BRP's Spruce Pine facility. As a Cast Line Operator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the production of high-quality aluminum castings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate vertical band saw station to degate aluminum castings with precision and accuracy
  • Maintain run-at-rate with fill station to optimize production efficiency
  • Collaborate with the quality team to obtain first-part approvals and ensure compliance with quality specifications
  • Adhere to standards to ensure the production of high-quality parts
  • Maintain equipment, including furnace cleaning, to ensure optimal performance
  • Follow established safety rules and procedures to ensure a safe working environment
  • Identify and follow process sheets to ensure accurate and efficient production

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Technically-inclined with a strong understanding of mechanical systems
  • Conceptual skills with the ability to analyze and improve processes
  • Inclination to process improvement with a focus on efficiency and quality
  • Self-motivated with good communication skills
  • Able to effectively follow written and verbal processes
  • Good leadership skills with the ability to work collaboratively with the team

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous machining experience
