Position Overview: The primary objective of this role is to support the planning, organization, development, and management of the Food Services Department. This will be conducted in alignment with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations to ensure that high-quality nutritional services are delivered consistently. Additionally, the Food Services Department must be maintained in a clean, safe, and sanitary condition.

Qualifications & Experience: The ideal candidate must possess a CDM credential. A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred. Completion of a food service supervisory course accredited by the Dietary Manager Association is necessary, along with certification as a Dietary Manager. New graduates are welcome to apply, although a minimum of one year of experience in a hospital or residential care food service environment is preferred. Comprehensive knowledge of all aspects of food service is essential, including dietary nutrition, menu development, food preparation and storage, recipe standardization, inventory management, purchasing, cost control, sanitation and safety protocols, equipment handling and maintenance, supervisory methods, record keeping, employee relations, and compliance with state and federal licensure requirements.
