About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cyber Security Systems Engineer to join our team at Avid Technology Professionals, LLC. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing secure systems and architectures to protect our clients' sensitive information.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement security systems and architectures to protect against unauthorized access, data breaches, and cyber threats.
  • Design and implement secure cloud configurations, including cloud trail and AWS config.
  • Implement and manage host-based protections, including firewalls, anti-virus software, and data loss prevention.
  • Develop and maintain secure network architectures, including firewalls, intrusion detection and prevention systems, and log analysis.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate security risks.
Requirements
  • 6+ years of experience in cyber security, with a focus on systems engineering and architecture.
  • Hands-on experience with Windows and Linux in a production environment.
  • Knowledge of federated identity, RBAC, authentication and authorization, and secure cloud configuration.
  • Experience with scripting languages, including PowerShell and Python.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Familiarity with CyberArk, ForeScout CounterAct, CrowdStrike, Tenable Nessus, Splunk, PKI, chain of trust, and certificates.
  • Understanding and application of Model Based System Engineering (MBSE).
