Job Overview

Argo Cyber Systems is seeking a highly skilled Cyber Security Incident Responder to support our customer in detecting, responding to, and mitigating cyber threats affecting client networks. This role requires shift work, including nights and weekends.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide timely and effective support in detecting, responding to, and mitigating cyber threats affecting client networks.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of current vulnerabilities, response, and mitigation strategies used in cyber security operations.
  • Produce accurate and informative reports and briefs to depict the current threat landscape and associated risk.
  • Utilize customer, community, and open-source reporting to analyze and report cyber threats.
  • Facilitate the customer's posturing to aggressively investigate cyber activity targeting customer information and infrastructure.
  • Assist the customer's training department in educating staff on cyber threats and provide liaison support with other government cyber threat analysis entities.
  • Maintain proficiency in visualization chart production, link analysis diagram creation, and database query execution.
  • Analyze and report cyber threats, and assist in deterring, identifying, monitoring, investigating, and analyzing computer network intrusions.
  • Additional duties may include providing intrusion support to high-technology investigations through computer evidence seizure, forensic analysis, data recovery, and network assessments.
  • Meet and maintain customer-required Information Assurance training compliance.
Requirements
  • Active/current Top Secret clearance with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI.
  • Ability to receive DHS suitability prior to starting employment.
Desired Skills
  • Hands-on experience in detecting, responding to, and mitigating cyber threats affecting client networks.
  • Experience in computer intrusion analysis and incident response.
  • Experience with intrusion detection, computer network surveillance/monitoring, and secure architectures.
  • Knowledge of network protocols, network devices, multiple operating systems, and secure architectures.
  • Experience in computer evidence seizure, forensic analysis, and data recovery.
  • Computer network forensics and system log analysis.
  • Experience with current cyber threats and associated tactics, techniques, and procedures.
  • Experience with network intrusion detection and response operations.
Desired Certifications
  • Additional Technical CND Incident Reporter Certification (CEH, GCIH, GCIA, GNFA).
  • DoDI M M IAT Level I Compliant Certification (Network + CE, A+ CE, CCNA + Security, SSCP).
