Family Service Counselor - Inside Sales Specialist

Position Highlights:

  • Inside sales position with leads generated from walk-in inquiries and incoming calls.
  • Assists families in making informed funeral selections and participates in services.
  • Upholding values of Honesty, Integrity, and Quality in all interactions.
  • Top-performing Family Service Counselors have the potential to achieve six-figure earnings.

Compensation Range: $40,000 to $75,000 annually

Employment Type: Full-Time

Key Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required; some college education or a degree is preferred.
  • A proven history of success in both inside and outside sales is highly desirable.
  • May require obtaining an insurance license as mandated by local regulations.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.
  • Bilingual candidates are preferred.

Responsibilities:

  • Cultivates professional relationships with client families to ensure their needs are met.
  • Represents the organization with professionalism and compassion.
  • Conducts tours and assists families visiting cemetery locations.
  • Attends services and visitations to build relationships, ensure excellent service, and encourage referrals.
  • Completes necessary documentation and ensures compliance with state regulations and company policies.
  • Develops new leads and community connections.
  • Delivers presentations at various venues, including client homes and community events, showcasing services and benefits of pre-need arrangements.
  • Maintains effective communication and collaboration with all departments to ensure a seamless service experience for families.
  • Actively engages in all required training and development initiatives.
  • Reports progress to the Sales Manager as directed.
  • Schedules and conducts follow-up appointments to ensure client satisfaction and gather referrals.
  • Identifies and addresses any hazards at the location.
  • Performs additional duties as assigned.
