Assistant Manager, South Coast Plaza

The Assistant Manager is a key member of the Herms South Coast Plaza team, responsible for supporting the Floor Director and Managing Director in achieving sales goals and delivering exceptional client experiences.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and coach sales staff to achieve sales objectives and provide exceptional client service.
- Partner with the sales team to identify sales opportunities and develop strategies to drive business growth.
- Manage daily operations, including inventory management, scheduling, and staff development.
- Communicate CRM standards and ensure compliance among sales staff.
- Organize seasonal trainings and ensure sales team integration into client conversations.
- Assist in maintaining database of candidates for store and recruiting/interviewing to fill open positions.
- 4+ years of retail management experience, preferably in a luxury environment.
- Basic office skills, including proficiency in Excel, Word, Cegid, and E-time.
- Ability to learn merchandise, POS, and payroll systems, and effectively troubleshoot.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to lift between 0-25 lbs. without assistance.
- Flexible work availability as business needs dictate.
