Job Summary:

InsideHigherEd is seeking a highly qualified Faculty in Therapeutic Massage to join our team. As a Therapeutic Massage Instructor, you will be responsible for teaching courses in Therapeutic Massage and other related subjects. This is a 10-month faculty position that will consist of teaching 33 credits per year in a variety of environments and modes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach courses in Therapeutic Massage and other related subjects
  • Teach in a variety of environments and modes, including live, hybrid, and online classes
  • Support the college's values of quality learning environment, diversity and accessibility, integrity and accountability, and collaboration toward success
  • Uphold the mission of providing, supporting, and promoting life-long learning
  • Integrate technology with instruction
  • Assess students in light of the institution's goals, program goals, and course objectives
  • Maintain appropriate scheduled office hours
  • Provide service to the department, division, college, and community as assigned
  • Develop good working relationships with discipline-related professionals in the College's service area
  • Collaborate and participate in AZ Transfer to foster transferability opportunities
  • Serve as a community resource in area of expertise
  • Be active in one's field of expertise
  • Travel within the College district

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Therapeutic Massage or a related field
  • Experience teaching Therapeutic Massage courses
  • Strong knowledge of Therapeutic Massage principles and practices
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
