Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement programs aimed at enhancing faculty professional growth, including mentorship opportunities, leadership training, and specialized workshops for distinct faculty cohorts.
  • Assess the impact of faculty development initiatives through various methods such as surveys, interviews, focus groups, and data analytics to ensure ongoing enhancement and alignment with faculty requirements.
  • Manage the administration of faculty engagement surveys, ensuring the effective communication of results and facilitating strategic planning based on feedback.
  • Act as a strategic advisor to the Senior Associate Dean for Faculty Affairs and Development, offering insights and recommendations regarding faculty priorities, policies, and strategic goals.
  • Ensure effective outreach and promotion of faculty development programs to faculty members, stakeholders, and the wider university community.
  • Foster collaborative relationships across the organization to support faculty advancement and success.
  • Remain informed about trends in faculty affairs and development within academic settings, identifying and implementing evidence-based strategies to boost faculty engagement.
  • Establish a research agenda centered on faculty development and contribute to the academic community through publications, presentations, and participation in various forums.
  • Participate in local, regional, and national committees focused on faculty affairs and development.

Minimum Qualifications:

Education: A bachelor's degree in business, accounting, or a related field.

Experience: A minimum of 8 years of relevant experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • A master's or terminal degree.
  • Experience within the higher education sector.

Physical Requirements:

This position primarily involves sedentary work with extensive use of desktop computers. Occasional travel may be required to attend meetings and programs.
