Key Responsibilities
  • Identify, develop, and secure new business opportunities through sales to both new and existing clients.
  • Build and maintain a prospect list by establishing and nurturing professional connections.
  • Follow company protocols to gather and maintain accurate information from prospects and clients, including completed applications and related documentation.
  • Collaborate effectively with the Service Team to deliver prompt and professional customer service to retain clients.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of client interactions, quotes, and coverage requirements in the company’s data management system.
  • Foster and sustain relationships with underwriters.
  • Renew existing client policies annually.
  • Cross-sell property & casualty, personal insurance, and benefits policies to corporate clients.
  • Engage in professional development activities to enhance knowledge in employee benefits.
  • Assist with additional projects or responsibilities as needed.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications
  • High School diploma or equivalent; a college degree is preferred.
  • Two years of experience in commission sales or insurance is preferred.
  • Active Property & Casualty and/or Life, Accident & Health license is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate.
  • A strong desire to succeed and a competitive spirit.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and other data management systems.
  • Ability to provide innovative solutions and handle challenging sales situations.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal abilities.
  • Self-motivated with a strong work ethic.
