Position Overview

The MC Modeling Engineer plays a crucial role in the development of MC Models, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in project execution. This position requires a dedicated professional who can manage their time effectively while working remotely.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop MC Models adhering to a standard 40-hour work week.
  • Organize and prioritize daily tasks based on the schedule provided by the department manager.
  • Utilize a Windows PC for extensive periods, typically ranging from 6 to 10 hours daily, depending on workload and seasonal demands.
  • Employ AutoDesk Civil 3D software to create and refine MC Models.
  • Utilize Microsoft Office and Bluebeam for documentation and collaboration.
  • Maintain clear communication with the department manager and team members to ensure seamless workflow.
  • Deliver MC Models punctually, meeting deadlines set by the department manager.
  • Occasionally liaise with clients to address project-related discrepancies or concerns.
Qualifications
  • A minimum of 2-4 years of experience in MC Modeling.
  • 1-3 years of proficiency with AutoDesk Civil 3D.
  • At least 3 years of experience interpreting Civil, Structural, Architectural, and Landscape plans, with a focus on Civil and Structural documentation.
Essential Skills and Attributes
  • Strong communication skills are essential for daily interactions with management and colleagues.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a production environment.
  • Effective time-management skills, particularly in a remote work setting.
  • Proficient in reading and understanding construction plans across various disciplines.
  • Expertise in Civil3D software.
  • Familiarity with file formats such as DWG, DXF, and XML within AutoDesk Civil 3D.
  • Competence in Bluebeam and Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and OneNote.
  • Proficient in using Windows 10/11 and possess intermediate PC skills.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to sit or stand at a computer for extended periods, typically 6-10 hours a day, based on workload.
Work Environment
  • This position is remote, allowing for flexibility in work location.
  • Involves virtual meetings and collaboration with team members.
