We are seeking a highly skilled Heavy Equipment Technician to join our team at The H&K Group in Hummelstown, PA.

About the Role

This is a regular full-time position with competitive salary commensurate with experience, ranging from $65,000 to $90,000 per year. In addition to the salary, we offer 100% company-paid health benefits, a 401(k) savings and investment plan, tuition reimbursement programs, and additional training opportunities.

Job Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in heavy equipment repair and maintenance, with excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Key responsibilities include:

  • Performing repairs and maintenance on diesel and gasoline heavy equipment and trucks
  • Inspecting and testing equipment to ensure it meets manufacturer specifications
  • Identifying and replacing defective parts as needed
  • Working safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • A CDL B license
  • Clean driving record
  • Excellent customer service and teamwork skills
  • General computer knowledge and experience with Caterpillar software
  • Ability to use mechanical hand tools, torch, and welder
  • Physical ability to lift up to 75 pounds and work in a variety of environments
