Overview:

As a key member of our maintenance department, you will assist diesel mechanics in repairing and maintaining electric, diesel, and gasoline vocational trucks.

Salary and Benefits:
Competitive salary commensurate with experience ($55,000 - $65,000 per year) and excellent benefits package including 100% company-paid health insurance, 401(k) savings plan, tuition reimbursement programs, and industry training opportunities.

Job Description:
We are looking for a skilled and organized individual to work on a second shift schedule. Responsibilities include:
  • Performing all work adhering to OSHA and H&K Safety policies
  • Completing paperwork required to track work and labor
  • Assisting mechanics in repairing or replacing defective parts
  • Testing-operating vehicles to verify correction of malfunction
  • Maintaining all trucks, cars, trailers, and equipment to comply with DOT, OSHA/MSHA regulations

Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you must have a high school diploma or equivalent, basic knowledge of mechanical systems, and a clean driving record. A driver's license and ability to fit test and use PPE as needed are also essential. Additionally, you should be able to meet physical requirements, including lifting up to 75 pounds and working outdoors in various environments.
