Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Evening Housing Monitor to join our team at The Salvation Army USA Southern Territory. As an Evening Housing Monitor, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety, security, and well-being of shelter residents and the building. This is a regular, part-time position with a competitive pay rate of $14.19 per hour.

Key Responsibilities:
Updates residents' admittance cards and tracking sheets
Inputs data as necessary into the computer system
Monitors clients' day-to-day activities, including scheduling and inventorying passes, taking prescribed medication, and residents' general whereabouts
Maintains shelter logbook through documentation, as directed by the Shelter Director
Collects male and female urinalysis and documents results
Mediates conflicts between residents

Requirements:
High school diploma or G.E.D.
One year of experience in security and/or social service work preferred
Ability to deal with people maturely and professionally
Ability to meet attendance requirements
Ability to read, write, and communicate in English
Ability to lift light objects weighing less than 24 pounds
