POSITION OVERVIEW:

The role involves defining, developing, and supervising the execution of innovative manufacturing processes, particularly for connectors and cable assemblies, while enhancing existing processes. The objective is to uphold high standards of manufacturing and product quality, ensuring cost-effectiveness and compliance with regulatory requirements.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
The following duties are essential to this position:
- Lead and manage continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure Total Effective Manufacturing (TEM) readiness for new product and process introductions, including PFMEA, FLOW, STANDARD, ROUTING, and SAFETY.
- Provide clear and concise project updates to leadership, demonstrating measurable progress.
- Utilize effective DMAIC processes and A3 problem-solving techniques.
- Conduct Kaizen events based on the analysis of cell KPIs to drive improvements.
- Maintain the sustainability of improved processes through ongoing evaluation and reporting.
- Collaborate with cell operators, engineering teams, and management regarding project requirements and implementation status.
- Develop and document effective electronic and manual work instructions.
- Design, implement, and enhance new and existing manufacturing processes and procedures.
- Create and manage a CAPEX plan to address current and future manufacturing needs.
- Apply Lean Manufacturing principles, including VSM, setup reduction, flow improvement, and waste elimination.
- Validate and implement new equipment and processes, developing appropriate validation plans.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve manufacturing challenges, providing technical guidance and support.
- Analyze production trends to formulate improvement strategies.
QUALIFICATIONS:

To excel in this role, candidates should possess:

  • A four-year Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Three or more years of relevant experience or training, or a combination of education and experience.
  • Strong technical writing and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate effectively to various audiences.
  • Familiarity with Lean methodologies and Six Sigma problem-solving tools.
  • Experience with digital factory connectivity.
  • Proficiency in mathematical concepts, including probability, statistics, and geometry.
  • Self-motivation and effective time management skills.
  • Project management capabilities.

It is essential for candidates to meet the physical demands of the role, which may include lifting and moving objects of varying weights. The work environment may involve exposure to mechanical parts and moderate noise levels.


ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
