Shift: 12-hour shifts from 07:00 PM to 07:30 AM

Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week

Experience: 1-year recent full-time equivalent experience within the last 3 years. Five (5) plus years of recent experience in Labor and Delivery is preferred, with at least one (1) year of high-risk labor and delivery experience within the last two (2) years.

License: Registered Nurse License (in the state where care is provided)

Certifications: Basic Life Support, Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation Program

Must-Have: ACLS

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Labor and Delivery unit.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care to mothers and newborns.
  • Administer medications, monitor fetal heart rates, and manage labor processes.
  • Educate and support expectant mothers throughout the childbirth experience.
  • Assess and respond to the physical and psychological needs of patients.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and training sessions.
  • Ensure compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
  • Preferred candidates will have experience with high-risk obstetrics.
  • Ability to handle stressful and emergency situations effectively.
