Job Overview

The Chief Scribe position at MedScribes offers a unique opportunity for professional growth and leadership development. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining a client site, while also having the chance to learn and train a team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership and Administration: Provide guidance and oversight to ensure the smooth operation of the client site, including administrative tasks and program evaluation.
  • Team Management: Lead and train a team of medical scribes, providing coaching and development opportunities to enhance their skills and performance.
  • Client Relationship Management: Foster strong relationships with clients to understand their needs and preferences, ensuring exceptional service delivery.
  • Operational Excellence: Identify areas for improvement and implement process enhancements to drive efficiency and productivity.
  • Training and Development: Develop and deliver training programs to ensure new staff members are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in their roles.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree (in progress or completed)
  • Leadership and Administration: Demonstrated capacity for leadership and administration/management
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Teams, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, as well as sufficient level competency of Epic utilization
  • Experience: 6+ months of scribing experience preferred, but not necessary; experience working with multiple clinicians within the department is preferred
  • Commitment: Commitment of up to 5-10 additional hours per week, in addition to scribing hours, for administrative tasks
