- Conduct experiments in organic and polymer synthesis to create innovative materials with specific properties.
- Design and optimize reaction conditions using heterogeneous catalysts for polymerization processes.
- Examine the structure-property relationships of polymers to improve material performance.
- Utilize advanced mechanistic concepts and synthetic methodologies to address complex chemical challenges.
- Analyze experimental data, prepare technical documentation, and effectively communicate findings to colleagues and stakeholders.
- M.S. or Ph.D. in organic or synthetic polymer chemistry, with a focus on heterogeneous catalysis and polymer characterization.
- A minimum of 5 years of industrial research experience in polymer synthesis.
- Strong understanding of polymer structure-property relationships and their applications.
