Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and courteous Food and Beverage Service Associate to join our team at The Resort at Pelican Hill. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring their dining experience is memorable and enjoyable.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide professional and efficient service to guests, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
  • Clean and set up tables, as well as perform other food service-related duties, including general cleaning and setup.
  • Serve water, bread, and coffee, and greet guests by name whenever possible during meal service.
  • Stack trays properly for efficient unloading and ensure proper safety standards at all times.
  • Complete closing duties, including storing reusable goods, breaking down goods, cleaning equipment and areas, and completing daily cleaning checklists.
  • Set up, stock, and maintain work areas, ensuring a clean and organized environment.
  • Inspect the cleanliness and presentation of all china, glass, and silver prior to use.
  • Maintain a clean and professional appearance, adhering to company standards and policies.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • No related work experience necessary, but a positive attitude and willingness to learn are essential.
  • Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods, as well as move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds without assistance.
  • Ability to grasp, turn, and manipulate objects of varying size and weight, requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination.
  • Ability to move over sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces, as well as up and down stairs and/or service ramps.
