  • Demonstrate safe and effective exercise techniques to clients.

  • Assist with member service initiatives as directed by club management, including fitness seminars and product demonstrations.
  • Comprehend and promote the benefits of the Smart Start Kick Off, ensuring a positive experience for all members and guests.
  • Contribute to maintaining a clean and organized club environment by assisting with equipment management.
  • Utilize company-provided tools to design comprehensive fitness programs.
  • Manage scheduling for personal training sessions and administrative tasks using company systems.
  • Execute the Trainer Business Plan effectively.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Education Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED is mandatory.
Certifications:
  • Must possess three or more of the following certifications: American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM), Certified Personal Trainer, Health Fitness Specialist, American Council on Exercise (ACE), Personal Trainer Certification, The Cooper Institute, International Fitness Professionals Association (IFPA), National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM), Corrective Exercise Specialist (CES), Performance Enhancement Specialist (PES), National Exercise and Sports Trainers Association (NESTA), National Federation of Professional Trainers (NFPT), National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA), Certified Strength and Conditional Specialist (CSCS).
Experience:
  • A minimum of 4 years of personal training experience or at least 2251 training sessions conducted is required.
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to lift weights up to 50 lbs.
  • Daily responsibilities include physical activities such as lifting, squatting, bending, reaching, spotting, and extended periods of standing and walking.
