Position Overview:
As a pivotal representative of Crunch Fitness, the Master Trainer plays a crucial role in fostering a positive fitness environment for both members and clients. This position is dedicated to delivering exceptional personal training sessions that enhance member retention and attract new clients. Master Trainers empower individuals to achieve their fitness aspirations by providing comprehensive education and guidance on tailored fitness programs, which encompass both resistance and cardiovascular training, alongside general nutritional advice and product recommendations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver an exceptional introductory personal training experience for new clients.
  • Design and implement personalized fitness programs that align with clients' specific goals, integrating suitable exercise selections and nutritional strategies.
  • Educate clients on the fitness resources available to support their journey towards achieving their objectives.
  • Establish clear expectations and maintain accountability for clients through effective goal setting, follow-up discussions, and progress tracking.
  • Exhibit safe and proper exercise techniques to clients, ensuring their safety and effectiveness during workouts.
  • Guide members on the correct usage of gym equipment and exercise methodologies.
  • Assist in member service initiatives as requested by club management, including fitness seminars, boot camps, and nutritional product demonstrations.
  • Comprehend and promote the benefits of the Smart Start Kick Off, ensuring a welcoming fitness experience for all members and guests.
  • Contribute to maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming club environment by assisting with equipment management.
  • Utilize company-provided tools to create comprehensive fitness programs tailored to individual needs.
  • Manage scheduling for personal training sessions and administrative tasks using company systems.
  • Execute the Trainer Business Plan effectively.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Educational Requirements:
  • A High School Diploma or GED is mandatory.
Certifications Required:
  • Possession of three or more certifications from the following: American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM), Certified Personal Trainer, Health Fitness Specialist, American Council on Exercise (ACE), Personal Trainer Certification, The Cooper Institute, International Fitness Professionals Association (IFPA), National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM), Corrective Exercise Specialist (CES), Performance Enhancement Specialist (PES), National Exercise and Sports Trainers Association (NESTA), National Federation of Professional Trainers (NFPT), National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA), Certified Strength and Conditional Specialist (CSCS).
Experience:
  • A minimum of 4 years of personal training experience or 2251+ training sessions conducted is required.
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Daily responsibilities involve physical activities such as lifting weights, squatting, bending, reaching, spotting, and prolonged periods of standing and walking.
