Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop account plans for each named account, identifying opportunities for growth and expansion
  • Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to deliver complex sales propositions and meet customer needs
  • Provide subject matter expertise on the value of the Proofpoint platform and how it stacks up against the competition
  • Maintain a high level of activity with customers and partners, including regular meetings and communication
  • Meet and exceed revenue expectations, while maintaining accurate forecasting and Salesforce hygiene

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of field sales experience selling complex cybersecurity solutions, with a proven track record of success
  • Strong presentation skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • High level of activity, with the ability to prospect and close business
  • Experience working with channel partners and selling via two-tier distribution
  • Ability to quarterback a multitude of internal and external resources, while being in tune with different personalities and competing priorities
