Senior Security Solutions Executive

At Proofpoint, we are dedicated to protecting people from advanced threats and targeted attacks. We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Security Solutions Executive to join our team as a Named Account Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of named accounts, working closely with our partner community to gain access to new opportunities, and upselling and cross-selling our products to existing customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop account plans for each named account, identifying opportunities for growth and expansion
- Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to deliver complex sales propositions and meet customer needs
- Provide subject matter expertise on the value of the Proofpoint platform and how it stacks up against the competition
- Maintain a high level of activity with customers and partners, including regular meetings and communication
- Meet and exceed revenue expectations, while maintaining accurate forecasting and Salesforce hygiene
Requirements:
- 5+ years of field sales experience selling complex cybersecurity solutions, with a proven track record of success
- Strong presentation skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences
- High level of activity, with the ability to prospect and close business
- Experience working with channel partners and selling via two-tier distribution
- Ability to quarterback a multitude of internal and external resources, while being in tune with different personalities and competing priorities
