Medical Imaging Specialist

Job Summary:
Health Alliance is seeking a skilled Medical Imaging Specialist to join our team. As a Diagnostic Radiology Technologist, you will be responsible for operating x-ray and CT equipment to produce high-quality radiographs and scans of designated body parts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Adjust x-ray equipment to correct settings for each examination and position patients to obtain precise images.
- Operate CT intravenous contrast injector with physician supervision and adjust immobilizing devices to prevent patient movement.
- Position x-ray equipment at the correct distance and angle to present clear and undistorted views.
- Clean and maintain equipment, and document performance of radiological studies in electronic medical records.
Requirements:
- Prior diagnostic radiology experience with CT equipment required.
- Graduate of an accredited AMA School of Radiology.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and demonstrate knowledge of growth and development principles.
