Critical Care - CVICU
We are seeking a highly skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our Critical Care Division in the Cardiovascular ICU (CVICU). The successful candidate will have demonstrated nursing expertise in pediatric cardiovascular intensive care and will function as a clinical expert in the management of pediatric cardiac intensive care patients within a family-centered care environment.
Under the direction of the attending CVICU attending and practicing within developed standardized procedures and process protocols, the Nurse Practitioner will evaluate, diagnose, and treat cardiac medical patients as well as pre- and post-operative/catheterization cardiac patients. The Nurse Practitioner will assist in developing and implementing plans of care for all patients in the CVICU, collaborating with a multi-disciplinary cardiac team while providing consultation and education to patients and their families.
The ideal candidate will be a California licensed and certified Nurse Practitioner with at least two years of bedside nursing experience in direct pediatric cardiovascular intensive patient care. Excellent communication skills are essential. At least one year of clinical pediatric Nurse Practitioner experience is desired, but not mandatory.

The rate of pay is determined by various factors, including but not limited to knowledge, skills, competencies, experience, education, as well as position requirements.
