Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Oncology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our team at UMMS Providers/Physicians. This is a full-time position that requires a strong clinical background and excellent leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced medical oncology setting
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans
  • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests, prescribe medications, and perform procedures as needed
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of clinical policies and procedures
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Nursing or a related field
  • Current certification as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a medical oncology setting
  • Excellent clinical and leadership skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
