Vascular Surgery Acute Care Nurse Practitioner Job Description

UMMS Providers/Physicians is seeking a highly skilled Vascular Surgery Acute Care Nurse Practitioner to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with physicians to diagnose and treat patients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide comprehensive history and physical assessments for patients
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests
  • Establish medical diagnoses and develop treatment plans
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care
  • Communicate effectively with patients and families to ensure understanding of treatment plans and disease processes
Requirements:
  • Master of Science Degree in Nursing with completion of a Nurse Practitioner program
  • Registered and currently recorded with the Maryland Board of Examiners of Nurses and Certified as a Nurse Practitioner in the State of Maryland
  • Certified in area of specialty
  • Minimum of one year experience as a Registered Nurse
