Job SummaryPilot Flying J seeks an experienced Retail General Manager to oversee our high-volume retail facilities. This leader will be responsible for generating and executing business plans to achieve established standards, sales, and profit objectives as well as customer satisfaction.
The successful candidate will build, coach, manage, and develop teams from a staffing, interviewing, hiring, and training standpoint.
Key Responsibilities- Drive sales growth through effective business planning and execution
- Maintain a customer-focused culture within the team
- Conduct meetings with subordinate employees to ensure clear communication and expectations
- BUILD AND MAINTAIN EFFECTIVE VENDOR RELATIONSHIPS TO SUPPORT BUSINESS GOALS
- Develop and implement strategies to improve customer experience and increase loyalty
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to inform business decisions
To succeed in this role, you must demonstrate exceptional leadership skills, integrity, and accountability at the managerial level. A minimum of 2-3 years of management experience in the retail, restaurant, grocery, or other service industry with financial results responsibility is required.
Previous management proficiency in high-volume retail with P&L accountability and ability to create and maintain a customer-focused culture are essential.
