About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Surgical Services to lead our perioperative team at Riverside Community Hospital. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care while effectively managing operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the perioperative team in providing safe and effective patient care
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency and quality
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless patient flow
  • Monitor and respond to quality event reporting
  • Develop and prioritize capital equipment requests
  • Oversee the fiscal management of the department
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in nursing required; Master's degree in Nursing, Business Administration, or a related field preferred
  • 3+ years of experience in a leadership role; or equivalent combination of education and/or experience
  • Currently licensed as a registered professional nurse in the state in which he or she practices
  • Certified Nursing Operating Room (CNOR) or Certified Surgical Services Manager (CSSM) preferred
