Job Title: Stock Associate

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Stock Associate to join our team at Steve Madden. As a Stock Associate, you will play a critical role in maintaining a well-organized and efficient stockroom, ensuring accurate and timely receipt and placement of merchandise.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Verify merchandise receipts and deliveries to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Process and replenish merchandise as needed, receiving and monitoring floor stock, and handling product movement in and out of the store.
  • Ensure accurate and efficient stockroom operations, particularly during peak hours.
  • Communicate clearly and timely with management regarding product levels and any other needs related to stockroom operations.
  • Assist in various store operations, including floor moves, visual merchandising, display maintenance, cleaning duties when necessary, and returning products to inventory as needed.

Requirements:

  • 1-2 years of retail experience preferred.
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to process information or merchandise through the computer system and POS register system.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule with retail hours, including day, evening, weekends, and/or holidays.

Compensation: The pay range of this position is $16-$17/hr. Actual rate will be determined based on candidate's skill sets, years of experience, and other job-related factors. This range does not include benefits such as health insurance, paid time off, and 401K, if applicable.
