Job Title: Title Specialist

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Title Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing various title-related processes, including handling department mail, perfecting titles, and providing support to internal and external customers via phone or email to resolve title exceptions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage incoming and outgoing department mail.
  • Process and perfect titles, including State-to-State and Lease to Retail transfers.
  • Complete title corrections and follow up on title deficiencies.
  • Manage title vendor exception reports.
  • Provide support to customers, dealers, and DMVs via phone (inbound and outbound calls) or email to resolve title exceptions.
  • Maintain organized records and conduct necessary research.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar capacity.
  • Previous experience with titles, particularly in a dealer/DMV setting or finance company, is preferred.
  • Experience in commercial vehicle finance is an advantage.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Independent thinker with the ability to complete research and work independently.
  • Comfortable making outbound calls to customers, dealers, and DMVs.
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Teams and email for daily communication.
