We are seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist to join our team on a per diem basis. As a Radiology Technologist, you will be responsible for operating radiologic equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images and performing routine diagnostic procedures according to established standards and practices.
Key Responsibilities:- Operate radiology equipment to produce quality images as ordered/according to department protocols.
- Perform routine diagnostic procedures according to established standards and practices.
- Instruct and supervise radiography students in clinical practicum.
- Assist in the care and maintenance of facilities, equipment, and supplies while adhering to WUH infection control policy and procedure.
- Maintain a proper environment of care and follow WUH infection control policy and procedure.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Technical Diploma and graduation from an AMA-approved school of radiology or imaging services required.
- Current New York State Radiologic technician license or New Graduate with temporary permit required.
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) registration required within 6 months of hire.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and customer service skills required.
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office, required.
