Job Summary:
In light of the increased operational demands due to recent circumstances, our organization is expanding its support capabilities across multiple facilities. We are currently utilizing numerous locations to facilitate educational activities, and our existing support team requires additional assistance to manage the influx of technical requests.
Role Responsibilities:
The selected candidate will be tasked with addressing a variety of technical issues, including but not limited to:
- Software installation and troubleshooting
- Application activation and functionality support
- Projector setup and maintenance
- Laptop hardware and software issues
- Streaming software inquiries
We are looking for an individual with a minimum of 1-2 years of experience in technical support who demonstrates a proactive approach and a strong work ethic. This role will involve managing support tickets and providing exceptional service to users.
Essential Skills:
Candidates should possess experience in:
- Troubleshooting various operating systems (Windows 7, Windows 10, Mac)
- Utilizing ticketing systems, preferably ServiceNow
- Delivering high-quality customer service
Work Schedule:
This position is for the first shift, Monday through Friday, from 8 AM to 5 PM.
Key Competencies:
The ideal candidate will exhibit:
- Strong troubleshooting abilities for common technical issues
- Experience in helpdesk environments
- High initiative and a customer-centric mindset, particularly when assisting diverse users, including senior executives and students
As the sole technician on-site during certain hours, the candidate should be a self-starter who seeks out additional tasks during quieter periods. Support requests may arise from evening classes, necessitating prompt responses to technical challenges.
Additional Information:
There is a strong possibility for contract extension based on performance, with potential for full-time employment for exemplary candidates.
