We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Social Worker to join our team as a Healthcare Facility Surveyor. As a surveyor, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality of care provided to patients in long-term care facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct surveys of healthcare facilities to assess their compliance with regulatory standards.
- Review and analyze data to identify areas for improvement.
- Develop and implement strategies to address identified issues.
- Collaborate with facility staff to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Provide education and training to facility staff on regulatory requirements and best practices.
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Social Work.
- Successful completion of CMS's Long-Term Care Basic Training and passing of the Surveyor Minimum Qualifications Test (SMQT).
- At least two years of recent experience working as a surveyor accrediting or certifying facilities that serve the residents of long-term care facilities.
- Current licensure to practice as an LCSW.
- Demonstrated history of independent decision-making skills to direct and effectively manage the survey process.
- Ability to set priorities independently and collectively in performing survey tasks.
- Ability to openly discuss conflicts/controversy, and to seek assistance when appropriate to make decisions and resolve conflicts.
- U.S. Citizenship is required for this position.
- Ability to travel up to 75% of the time on a regular basis is required.
