Job Title: Clinical Social Worker Healthcare Facility Surveyor

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Social Worker to join our team as a Healthcare Facility Surveyor. As a surveyor, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality of care provided to patients in long-term care facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct surveys of healthcare facilities to assess their compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Review and analyze data to identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop and implement strategies to address identified issues.
  • Collaborate with facility staff to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Provide education and training to facility staff on regulatory requirements and best practices.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Social Work.
  • Successful completion of CMS's Long-Term Care Basic Training and passing of the Surveyor Minimum Qualifications Test (SMQT).
  • At least two years of recent experience working as a surveyor accrediting or certifying facilities that serve the residents of long-term care facilities.
  • Current licensure to practice as an LCSW.
  • Demonstrated history of independent decision-making skills to direct and effectively manage the survey process.
  • Ability to set priorities independently and collectively in performing survey tasks.
  • Ability to openly discuss conflicts/controversy, and to seek assistance when appropriate to make decisions and resolve conflicts.
  • U.S. Citizenship is required for this position.
  • Ability to travel up to 75% of the time on a regular basis is required.
