We are seeking a skilled Senior Structural Project Manager to join our team at CDR Maguire in Warrendale, PA. Main Responsibilities:

  • Leverage your technical expertise to manage major transportation structure projects from initiation to completion.
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring their needs are met through effective communication and solution-oriented approach.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to engineering staff, promoting professional growth and development within the department.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including roadway, traffic, water, planning, and other disciplines, to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Develop and manage project scopes, schedules, and budgets, ensuring timely delivery and fiscal responsibility.
  • Perform and review complex structural analysis and design calculations, geometric/bridge layouts, construction specifications, and material quantity calculations.
  • Manage bridge/structural tasks as part of project development, including plan and report production.
  • Participate in industry organizations to stay abreast of best practices and emerging trends.
  • Travel up to 25% for business purposes.

About the Role:

  • $115,000 - $140,000 per year (dependent on experience)
  • 15+ years of experience in transportation/bridge project management and structural engineering
  • Bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering; Master's degree highly preferred, Professional Engineer (PE) licensed in Pennsylvania or ability to obtain within six months; SE certification a plus
  • Strong history of developing client relationships and managing multiple projects simultaneously
  • Familiarity with PennDOT and PTC design manuals, procedures, specifications, standards, computer programs, applicable design codes, and engineering software
  • Proven ability to design various bridge types in concrete and steel
  • Thorough knowledge of staged construction analysis and experience with structural engineering software packages
  • Experience working in a multi-disciplinary team environment and with preferred engineering client design software programs
