Position Title: Radiologic Imaging Specialist

Location: Marble Falls, TX

Compensation: $25 - $36 per hour, based on experience

Sign-On Incentive: $2,500

Work Schedule:

  • Shift Type: 12-Hour Day Shifts
  • Weekly Schedule: 3 Days
  • Total Weekly Hours: 36
  • Shift Start: 07:00 AM
  • Shift End: 07:00 PM

Position Summary:

We are looking for a proficient Radiologic Imaging Specialist to enhance our Radiology Department. In this role, you will conduct high-quality imaging procedures, ensuring precise imaging and patient safety while following established protocols. This full-time day shift role presents an excellent opportunity to work in a vibrant and supportive environment, with avenues for career advancement and professional growth.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Execute high-quality imaging procedures in alignment with examination protocols and system standards.
  • Effectively communicate with patients using AIDET principles to ensure accurate examinations and build rapport.
  • Prepare patients and imaging areas, including positioning patients, adjusting equipment, and setting exposure parameters.
  • Comply with safety regulations, infection control, and radiation protocols to safeguard patients and staff.
  • Maintain cleanliness and operational readiness of imaging equipment, collaborating with engineers and physicists for optimal functionality.
  • Accurately document patient information, procedure specifics, and maintain medical imaging records in accordance with departmental policies.
  • Provide first aid and emergency care as necessary, ensuring patient satisfaction by minimizing wait times and delivering courteous service.
  • Act as a mentor, offering training and guidance to new team members on procedures and initiatives.
  • Participate in on-call rotations as required.

Qualifications:

  • Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in Radiography (ARRT-R).
  • Ability to serve as a mentor and provide quality training to new staff members.
  • Willingness to take on-call duties, if necessary.
