About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at Baylor Scott & White Health. As a key member of our imaging department, you will be responsible for performing high-quality radiology procedures on ambulatory and hospital patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform radiology procedures according to exam protocol in a timely manner, maintaining production and quality of imaging procedures.
  • Communicate effectively with patients and their families, ensuring their comfort and understanding throughout the procedure.
  • Prepare patients and equipment for procedures, adhering to safety requirements and infection-control policies.
  • Maintain equipment and work areas to meet quality and cleanliness standards, ensuring optimal operational capabilities.
  • Report issues to management and assist in maintaining supplies inventory.
  • Screen patients for safety and obtain relevant documentation, including patient history and consent forms.
Requirements
  • ARRT-R Radiography certification
  • Ability to perform high-quality radiology procedures according to exam protocol in a timely manner
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks
  • Basic life support certification
