About the Role

Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a skilled Multimodality Technologist to join our team of imaging professionals. As a key member of our radiology department, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform high-quality multimodality procedures, including CT, MR, and nuclear medicine, in accordance with established protocols and guidelines.
  • Utilize effective communication skills to educate patients and their families about the testing process and ensure their comfort and safety throughout the procedure.
  • Prepare patients and equipment for procedures, maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
  • Protect patients and employees by adhering to safety protocols, infection control measures, and radiation policies.
  • Collaborate with engineers and physicists to ensure optimal equipment performance and troubleshoot issues as needed.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed medical imaging records, adhering to departmental policies and standards.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited program in radiologic technology.
  • Less than 1 year of experience in a radiology setting.
  • Current certification in radiologic technology, including Basic Life Support (BLS) and Medical Radiologic Technologist (MRT) licensure in the state of Texas.
  • Registration in two imaging modalities, with 50% of work time spent in the second modality.
