Position Details:

This is a full-time position, operating from 8 AM to 4 PM, Monday through Friday, in a year-round educational setting.
This role is not available for remote work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Staff Management:
    • Facilitate professional development opportunities
    • Delegate tasks to Lead Technicians and Behavior Technicians
    • Collaborate with BCBAs on student objectives and documentation
  • Student Support:
    • Assess individual needs
    • Create a nurturing and effective learning atmosphere
    • Ensure necessary accommodations are in place
    • Prepare educational materials and lesson plans
    • Develop and maintain IEP documentation
    • Evaluate student progress
    • Serve as the teacher of record
    • Implement physical management strategies as needed
  • Facility Management:
    • Communicate student progress to parents
    • Research and develop curriculum
    • Assist with facility maintenance tasks

Additional duties may be assigned as necessary.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Master's degree in a relevant field
  • Possession or eligibility for a teaching certificate with a Special Education endorsement
  • First Aid/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
  • Training or willingness to be trained in crisis management techniques

Physical Requirements:

Must be capable of maintaining various postures (kneeling, squatting, sitting, standing) for extended periods. The role requires the ability to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 pounds, as well as the ability to respond quickly to active students.

Noise levels may vary, with exposure to moderate and occasional loud sounds from students and equipment. The position may involve working in varying weather conditions and requires physical activity, which may present some risk of injury.
