About the Leslie Family Preschool

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Preschool Teacher to join our team at the Oshman Family JCC Leslie Family Preschool. As a Preschool Teacher, you will create and implement programs that promote learning in a licensed, Reggio-inspired, play-based, constructivist preschool program serving children ages 18 months to 5 years.

Our Campus

Our 8.5-acre campus is a unique and inspiring place for children to learn and grow. With 14 relatively new classrooms, four spacious and creative play yards, two full and bountiful gardens, and an orchard, our campus offers endless opportunities for exploration and discovery.

Our Team

Our team of 60 talented and committed educators includes a gardening, outdoor classroom, movement, and music specialist, all on staff full-time. We are a collaborative and supportive team that is passionate about providing high-quality education and care to our children.

Requirements
  • 12 or more ECE units (AA and/or BA degree in ECE or related field & teacher permit preferred)
  • At least 1 year of experience working with children in a licensed child care/educational environment
  • Knowledge of Constructivist/Reggio Emilia Approach to teaching and learning desirable
  • Flexible and enthusiastic
  • Friendly, warm, and nurturing
  • Ability to write well and communicate effectively with parents
