First Coast Energy operates a network of convenience stores across the Southeastern region.

Position Summary

Cashiers serve as Customer Service Representatives, interacting with customers, maintaining store cleanliness and stock levels, preparing food service items, and handling customer transactions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Welcome all customers and respond to inquiries
  • Process customer transactions efficiently
  • Prepare and manage food service offerings and beverages
  • Understand and adhere to cash-handling and credit card protocols
  • Restock merchandise and service items such as napkins and cups
  • Perform cleaning and maintenance tasks inside and outside the store
  • Be knowledgeable about emergency fuel procedures
  • Assist with inventory management and order organization

Essential Qualifications & Physical Demands

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Friendly and approachable personality
  • Strong communication skills in English (reading, writing, speaking, and listening)
  • Ability to lift up to 55 lbs. and carry items short distances
  • Capable of standing and walking for extended periods (8+ hours)
  • Ability to climb, reach, bend, and crouch as needed
  • Proficient in using hands for various tasks
  • Skilled in accurately selecting options on a touch-screen
  • Capable of counting cash and providing change accurately
  • Ability to work in cooler temperatures for brief periods
  • Strong teamwork and customer service orientation

Available Shifts: Morning, Afternoon, Overnight
