Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team at Geronimo Hospitality Group. As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking menu items to a high standard, while maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook menu items to a high standard, following recipes and presentation guidelines.
  • Work closely with the Chef and other kitchen staff to ensure smooth service and high-quality food.
  • Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety standards.
  • Assist with food preparation, including chopping, slicing, and dicing ingredients.
  • Operate kitchen equipment, including ovens, stoves, and dishwashers.
  • Work effectively in a fast-paced kitchen environment, prioritizing tasks and managing time efficiently.
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues and management to ensure seamless service.
Requirements
  • At least one year of kitchen experience, preferably in a similar role.
  • Basic math skills, including the ability to handle cash and make change.
  • Legible handwriting and attention to detail.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to stand for long periods, use hands to handle and feel objects, and reach with hands and arms.
  • Ability to lift, carry, and deliver boxes and items that may weigh up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to navigate kitchen and dining areas safely and efficiently.
Working Conditions

This role requires working in a fast-paced kitchen environment, with exposure to heat, noise, and physical demands. The successful candidate will be able to work effectively in this environment and maintain a high level of productivity and quality.
