Job Responsibilities- Answer multi-line telephone system, take accurate messages, and relay telephone calls in an efficient manner.
- Pick up and deliver company mail as needed.
- Greet, screen, and direct incoming customers and vendors in a professional manner.
- Open and distribute incoming mail, including inter-office mail, and prepare outgoing mail for selected departments each day.
- Assist the parts manager with cash logs, purchase orders, John Deere parts invoices, and return vendor parts credits.
- Maintain and order office supplies, computer supplies, forms, coffee, and fresh milk.
- Maintain and update internal lists, including salesmen, Saturday hours, phone directories, and more.
- Scan documents through the Archive System.
- Maintain payroll sheets for the parts department.
- Type and file various correspondences and other miscellaneous assignments as required.
- Maintain a clean and professional office environment and promote a positive image for the dealership.
- Monitor the fax machine and direct incoming documents to the appropriate individuals.
- Good phone presence when handling incoming calls.
- Computer literacy.
- Use of multi-line telephones.
- Written communication skills.
- Minimum 1 year of experience working in an office setting preferred.
$16-$20.00 per hour.
