Position Overview:
This role offers a hybrid work schedule, requiring a minimum of two days in the office. As part of our Compliance and Enforcement team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring adherence to environmental regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct technical inspections, surveys, and follow-up investigations.
- Prepare detailed reports documenting field activities and observed conditions.
- Perform environmental monitoring and draft technical papers on relevant studies.
- Provide guidance to the public and regulated entities regarding environmental regulations.
- Assist in the collection and analysis of environmental samples.
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in basic science, engineering, or environmental studies is preferred.
- Alternatively, four years of full-time experience in environmental activities directly related to the responsibilities outlined.
Additional Information:
- A copy of your official college transcript or evaluation of foreign credentials may be required.
- This position is also available for lateral transfer opportunities for current TCEQ employees.
