Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct desktop research to evaluate project sites for natural and cultural resources and potential environmental issues.
  • Consult with technical professionals and supervisors on routine and complex projects.
  • Perform non-routine and complex field testing on larger and more diverse projects.
  • Direct lower-level technicians on projects.
  • Calibrate field monitoring equipment.
  • Sample soil, water, and oil-containing materials.
  • Assist with or manage remediation projects.
  • Perform complex monitoring and well sampling.
  • Report any safety issues or concerns to management.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or related field and a minimum of 1 year of related experience.
  • Valid driver's license with acceptable violation history.
Preferred Certification:
  • One year's experience with environmental field services.
  • OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER training.
  • Certification in field of expertise.
