Job Title: Bilingual Finance Assistant A/R

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Bilingual Finance Assistant A/R to join our team at the Connecticut Institute for Communities, Inc.

Job Summary:

The Bilingual Finance Assistant A/R will be responsible for processing and collecting accounts receivable, assisting with financial records, and providing exceptional customer service to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process and collect accounts receivable, including preparing and sending invoices, tracking payments, and resolving any discrepancies.
  • Assist with financial records, including preparing journal entries, reconciling bank statements, and performing other tasks as needed.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to our clients, including responding to inquiries, resolving issues, and maintaining a positive and professional demeanor.
  • Work closely with the Deputy Finance Director/Comptroller to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting and compliance with organizational policies and procedures.
Requirements:
  • AA in Accounting or related field, and two (2) years related experience, or BA in accounting or related field, and some related experience.
  • Bilingual (Spanish/Portuguese/English) skills required.
  • Thorough knowledge of Excel software program.
  • Strong working knowledge of computers, the internet, Windows and Microsoft Office software.
  • Accurate editing and keyboarding skills (45 words per minute).
